Julian Deberry

Julian is currently completing his final year of undergraduate studies at Hardin Simmons University, where he is majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Forensic Studies.

After graduation, he plans to pursue a law degree to further his passion for advocating for others. Originally from Austin, Texas, Julian relocated to West Texas in 2021 and has since embraced the region’s strong religious roots and hard-working culture. One of his favorite places to visit is Lubbock, known for its excellent food and vibrant museums. Julian also values punctuality, believing that “being early is on time,” and lists tardiness as one of his pet peeves.

In his spare time, Julian enjoys being outdoors, watching football, and spending time with friends and family. He draws inspiration from his mother, whom he considers his role model for her resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. Professionally, Julian works at the law firm of Keith and Lorfing, where he has gained invaluable hands-on experience in the legal field. One of the most rewarding aspects of his work is seeing the positive impact on clients’ lives, especially when they leave with a smile, knowing that the firm has helped them in a meaningful way.

Julian’s approach to life can be summed up by the phrase “West Texas tough,” which to him means confronting challenges head-on and emerging stronger from them. He finds fulfillment in helping those around him succeed and is excited about the future as he continues on his path toward becoming an attorney.
