Mandy Kennedy
Paralegal
Mandy brings a powerful blend of compassion, discipline, and real-world experience to her role as our Personal Injury Paralegal. Born and raised in Dallas County and a proud graduate of Cooper High School in Abilene, Mandy’s journey has been shaped by service, perseverance, and a deep-rooted desire to help others.
In 2004, Mandy joined the U.S. Army as a combat medic, graduating at the top of her AIT class. Stationed with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, she served two combat tours in Iraq, earning prestigious honors including the Combat Medical Badge, two Army Commendation Medals, and two Iraq Campaign Medals. Fewer than 10% of Combat Medical Badge recipients are women—Mandy is among them. Her responsibilities included providing emergency care under fire, leading medical support on high-risk missions, and serving in clinical treatment settings, all of which honed her ability to remain calm, detail-oriented, and highly efficient under pressure—skills that now directly benefit our clients navigating difficult legal and medical situations.
Following her military service, Mandy pursued nursing studies before recognizing that her experiences with trauma demanded a different path. This self-awareness led her to pivot professionally, applying her care-focused mindset to new roles while remaining grounded in service to others.
She worked her way up to Food and Beverage Manager at the Abilene Country Club, demonstrating leadership, organization, and team management—key traits that translate seamlessly into the legal world. In 2017, seeking a career with more consistent hours to support her family, Mandy entered the legal field, gaining hands-on experience across criminal law, family law, probate, real estate, and personal injury. Her ability to juggle complex tasks, communicate clearly, and advocate for clients with empathy makes her an invaluable asset to our personal injury team.
While working full-time, Mandy also earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2022 from American InterContinental University, showcasing her drive and commitment to growth.
Above all, Mandy is West Texas Tough—resilient, hardworking, and unshakably loyal to the people she serves. Her military discipline, medical background, legal experience, and personal grit uniquely position her to support clients through some of the most challenging times of their lives. She brings not just knowledge and professionalism—but heart—to everything she does.
West Texas Tough with a Combat Medic’s Calm—Mandy brings grit, heart, and precision to every personal injury case she touches.
